I was thinking about it at one point while getting some roofing damage fixed (the quoter was recomending it). but when I asked another one, they said to avoid it as it. 1) if you need access to the roof from outside, the seal needs to be broken (so re-done) 2) as it is a seal/paint, it needs refreshing from time to time.

Dec 7, 2014 · Apparently a medium sized roof should cost any where from $3,000 to $5,000. The fella I spoke to said if any one quotes $7,000 to $10,000 then they are ripping you off. (BTW – he said he was flat out till Jan next year! so he wasn't looking for work.) He recommended a 3 coat system – premier among others.

Mar 11, 2022 · The old saying is "if it ain't broke don't fix". Nothing should be placed between the tiles and the valley. The tiles should hang over the valley and the outer edges of the valley turn upward and in or curled. That's it. I think you are outdated. Most roofer recommends valley seal now even when it is not broken.

Dec 15, 2019 · Put a bit more around corners, fixture holes and the lights ect. (took one tin) Laid out the Carpet and lightly brushed Contact Cement on it. Didn't cover much with the other tin either so krisscross/lines to get good coverage. Waited till both were touch dry tacky ~20mins.

Mar 16, 2019 · I worked from inside the shed on a tall step ladder. I cut the foam into bits then poked the bits in between the roof sheet and ridge capping. I then covered the whole lot by screwing 300mm wide cement sheet horizontally between the two top timber rafters for the length of the shed. This solved my problem.

BYD Seal U plug-in hybrid SUV to be renamed Sealion 6 in Australia. Actually heard this from a BYD employee a few weeks back but I thought they were confused with the Sea Lion 07 at the time. This car already has multiple names in other markets like the Seal U and the Song Plus, so adding a third name to the mix is a bit more confusing.
