The Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center (ARC) is an award-winning facility that offers a unique experience for all. The outdoor, covered Recreation Pool offers a variety of fitness classes, lap swim, and open swim times to enjoy the walking channel and play features in the zero-depth area.

Lap swimming will only be available at McClure and Reed Park pools on Saturdays and Sundays between noon and 2 p.m. Staff will designate the number of lanes reserved for lap swimming based on the number of those interested, as well as ongoing need and regular pool attendance and/or activities.

At the first sign of thunder or lightning, the pool will close. The pool will remain closed for 30 minutes after the last visible sign or sound of the storm. Patrons can gather in the shower rooms or protected areas.
