Keith Thompson is the illustrator of the Leviathan series. He has also illustrated other books, as well as drawn illustrations and concept art for video games, films, magazines and television. Scott Westerfeld chose him to illustrate the series after finding his art online.

May 28, 2020 · Steampunk fans will be familiar with Keith Thompson as the illustrator of Scott Westerfeld’s Leviathan (2009, our review here) and its sequels, Behemoth (2010) and Goliath (2011). Of particular interest is Thompson’s caricature map of Europe in an alternate 1914.

Leviathan is a 2009 novel written by Scott Westerfeld and illustrated by Keith Thompson. It is the first work in the trilogy of the same name, followed by sequels Behemoth and Goliath. [1]

Thompson’s Most known work is the illustrations in the Leviathan Trilogy, and the designs in the film, “Don’t be afraid.” Keith Thompson fits into the gallery because his artwork is creepy and gruesome looking.

Nov 30, 2009 · Most recently, he illustrated Scott Westerfeld’s young adult novel Leviathan which debuted as a New York Times bestseller. Thompson creates his work using black colerase pencil on 110lb paper which he then scans and glazes using soft light layers in Photoshop.
