It is a mech created by the Chaos Council for Dr. Babble to combat his enemies for domination. The mech is a round-shaped egg with six buttons that represent baby items and a circle-shaped button in the middle that decides which mode Babble uses.

Sonic then runs into a robot controlled by Dr. Babble. After fighting the robot, Sonic notices Babble in the cockpit and is confused why a baby's there. He decides to ignore Babble and carry on for finding Tails.
