Jun 26, 2022 · The Bomb Squig is a type of Ork Squig converted into a living weapon [1]. Orks sometimes use Squigs as running explosives, exploiting their natural tendency to chase anything that moves. Explosives are strapped to their sides or gripped firmly in their teeth and when properly goaded, they run headlong at the desired target, usually enemy vehicles.

Bomb Squigs are used by Ork Tankbustas. A Bomb Squig is an ordinary Attack Squig covered in dynamite, Stikkbombz and other explosives. A Bomb Squig will charge towards an enemy vehicle and explode in a ball of fire and debris.

Bomb Squig: Once per battle for each bomb squig this unit has, after this unit ends a Normal move, you can select one enemy unit within 12" of it and roll one D6: on a 2+, that enemy unit suffers D3 mortal wounds.

May 3, 2023 · Bomb squig, how does it work? It is my understanding, that the bomb squig can always fire its dynamite (as long as there is a valid target somewhere on the board), but only damages operatives within 2" of it. I've seen people play it as if it can ONLY make a dynamite attack, if it is in melee with another operative. Which one is correct?

Boom Squig's are infamous for its defense mechanism of violently exploding at the slightest provocation, typically due to direct physical contact or a loud noise (though sometimes even its own bouts of indigestion).

There are all kinds of squigs featured on 40k ork models, they just don't have a separate datasheet because there is already a unit doing exactly what a squig unit would do. I would take away ObSec and instead put them in the FA slot, a supercheap Fast Attack option, although we probably have enough of those. Cauz we haz eaten dem all.
