Best way to drop front end on a 69 Camaro - Team Camaro Tech
Nov 11, 2006 · But when we put the big block in, there wasn't much of a drop in the front end at all even with the weight difference. And I have a stock spindles from a 70 Chevelle in front. I would like to put some nice 16" or 17" wheels in the front with the fender well covering up a part of the wheel to give it the dropped look.

69 RS front end - Team Camaro Tech
Jun 8, 1999 · If your Camaro is a non-original RS you can easily switch back to the Standard Grill. You won't need any support brackets, you'll actually have to remove the support brackets that are needed for the RS headlamp housing in a non-original RS (This is because a real RS has different front fenders, but yours is not original and I assume you have the standard fenders).

Nov 21, 2012 · First I put 1/8" of shim in the front and 1/4" in the rear of each a-arm cross shaft, just a guess to get it close. Then loaded the car up on the leveling stands and used 2 pieces of floor tile with light weight grease between them to allow the front wheels to move. The greasy floor tiles isn't optimal but for now that's the best I have.

69 Front Springs..??? - Team Camaro Tech
Oct 10, 2000 · I have a 69 Camaro with 31 year old front springs. I have been told that 31 year old springs are definately going to be worn out. I am planning on replaceing the original rubber bushings with polygraphite ones and I figure that would be the time to put in new springs. I was told that TRW makes the best replacement springs for fit and quality.
Affordable options to lower a 69 Camaro? - Team Camaro Tech
May 2, 2020 · I suspect the PO lowered the back but still looks like stock springs in front. It looks like the car is always under accelleration, in fact I think that is why the drivers door wont stay open, because of the reverse rake. Wouldnt mind dropping the front 1 …
69 Fender Emblems - Team Camaro Tech
Nov 3, 2024 · I want to change the emblems to something other than the Z28. The problem is the Z28 emblem has three mounting holes. Can anyone recommend a fender emblem/sorce that will cover these holes. Adhesion emblems would be ok. The location of this emblem is the front end of the fender where the engine displacement usually goes. Thanks.
