Sep 13, 2024 · Next, cut in with a brush and rolled on the 2nd coat. Altogether, used 1.5 gallons on a 30.5' rv, probably 27' of membrane. 2 gallons of Hengs was about $150 and the 2 vent covers were about $50. I had all the other materials. Only time will tell how long the coating lasts.

Mar 15, 2020 · The following is the steps I used: 1) I washed the roof and coach. 2) I washed and rinsed the roof by hand with dawn (bucket and towels). 3) I cut in everything with a brush (no thinning). 4) I add and mixed in 6 oz. of water per gallon to thin. 5) I rolled on a coat with a 3/8" nap roller. 6) I repeat steps 3 and 5.

Oct 30, 2010 · First mix the catalyst into the Liquid Rubber. This is done with a 5 gallon paint mixing tool attached to a corded drill. Tip, leave drill turned off and mix up and down, then turn on drill to mix as usual. The material is extremely thick.

Prepping epdm roof for Henrys Tropicool - iRV2 Forums
Apr 19, 2022 · Thx. I cleaned mine with liquid TSP. Henry's is not the best product, I would recommend going to a commercial supplier of roof coatings. I used silicone and it has been on 2 years, no issues. There will be plenty of people telling you not to do this as the manufacturer of EPDM only recommends their products.

Feb 9, 2022 · The Mfg of my TPO roof recommended Murphy Oil Soap. I mixed some Dawn in it for good measure. 2006 Damon Daybreak 3276 35'with 5 Star Tuner. 3 200 Amp Lithium batteries and 2000 watt PSW inverter/charger. 2013 Elantra on a Master Tow dolly. I have used Dawn and Spic n Span liquid.

May 10, 2017 · Installed price is going for about $85 per foot or about $3000.00. Henery's Tropi-Cool was $200 for a 5 gallon pail, $10 for 1 tube of caulking and 2 rolls of Useal roof tape @$17 per roll. I've used4 1/2 gallons for 2 coats. this stuff is amazing, it looks like and feels like rubber. Dries to a semi hard film.
