Most are ordered with motors to get better prices, but you can probably special-order one without. As far as a boat with no fittings ... that would be more difficult. Factories only price complete units.

Aug 4, 2021 · The same with small motors, there's a ton of 1995-2010 era 9.9/15hp four strokes for cheap. With new motors over $2,400, here, a good used one for $1200 don't sound that bad I suppose. For me, I keep running my 85 Johnson 15hp and 30hp motors but I've been offered all sorts of trades for them lately.

If you were bringing a non-titled motor into Texas, I would guess you take the bill of sale to the DMV and apply for a new title. At least that is how it would work in NJ, if we had titles for OBs. Aug 18, 2011 · Assuming you have at least 20+ ft of depth, for a single wide door 8ft wide by 7ft high should be considered the absolute bare minimum. I think single wide doors wider than 8 ft are less common so when you consider that many boats will have beams between 8-8.5ft you may have to limit what boats you consider due to this constraint.

Some manufacturers have contracts in place with certain motor companies, and I doubt you can buy them separate. Others may be more doable. A call to the dealer of your choice should clear that up.
