Tyson Fury must reverse his retirement in the next “three or four weeks” to set up a summer showdown with Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn has warned. Fury announced his retirement this week, having made the same claim several times in recent years, potentially thwarting a dream fight with Joshua.

Eddie Hearn has told Tyson Fury that he will have to come out of retirement in the next few weeks if a summer bout against Anthony Joshua is to be agreed.

Fury has claimed to be retiring from the sport on several prior occasions, most notably in April 2022 after he knocked out Dillian Whyte in the sixth round at Wembley Stadium to retain his WBC heavyweight title.
