Longtime Denver Broncos executive Darren Mougey took an interview with the New York Jets. Then another. Now he got the job. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Saturday that Mougey, formerly Denver's assistant general manager, has been hired as the Jets' new GM.

Darren Mougey replaces Joe Douglas, who was fired as GM late in the 2024 season after failing to make the playoffs over a six-year tenure.

The team has tapped Denver Broncos assistant general manager Darren Mougey as their next GM. It was reported a few days prior to the announcement, but it has happened officially. Like new head coach Aaron Glenn, Mougey will attempt to find better days for Gang Green moving forward.
