As a winter storm rolls through the Kansas City metro, followed by frigid temperatures, some businesses and attractions have announced closures or early dismissals. Up to a foot of snow, ice and gusty winds are predicted in the Kansas City area from Saturday evening through Sunday.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook and a winter storm watch for much of central Indiana, including the Wabash Valley. Thursday and Thursday night, snow showers were expected to arrive across central Indiana and push across the state through the night.
