"Now tell me folks – are you a friend of Frendo?" 🤡 RLJE Films & Shudder have revealed the first look teaser trailer for Clown in a Cornfield, a kooky new horror film arriving in theaters in May at the start of the summer movie season.

Clown in a Cornfield is based on an incredibly fun 2020 novel of the same name by Adam Cesare. The story feels reminiscent of ’80s teen slashers, but filtered through a more modern lens that makes the whole thing feel like a welcome update to the genre rather than an obnoxious wink.

Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down.
