Utah Hockey Club players gave their opinions on Salt Lake City, the Delta Center, the Utah Olympic Oval and the local fans.

The podcast is hosted by the Tribune’s Utah Hockey Club beat reporter, Belle Fraser, who offers an on-the-ground perspective of the team’s inaugural season. Plus, fan engagement is encouraged and there will be time for Q&A in each episode. New episodes will be available every Monday.

The New York Rangers will take on the Utah Hockey Club inside the Delta Center in Salt Lake City Thursday, Jan. 16. The Rangers are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss against the Colorado Avalanche Tuesday and are 20-20-3 on the season.

Heading into a Thursday night matchup, the New York Rangers are in a similar boat as the Utah Hockey Club: on the outside of the playoffs, looking in, hoping there’s still a chance for them. Both teams have 43 points.

The Utah Hockey Club continue to impress and surprise during their inaugural season. Currently boasting an 18-18-4 record, they sit six points out of a wild card spot with plenty of regular season left.
