While vintage products can still receive repairs from Apple Stores and authorized service providers, this depends on the availability of necessary parts. On the other hand, any products marked as "obsolete" are those that Apple stopped selling over seven years ago.

Apple just labeled nine of its Macs as obsolete and three as vintage. If you have one of these Macs, it's still perfectly fine to use.

Nine Macs from 2015 and 2016 are now officially classified as obsolete, meaning Apple will not service them — while another three hang on under the label of vintage.
