A bus carrying the Indiana University Indianapolis men’s basketball team caught fire on Sunday. Per a post from IU Indy Athletics on X, the men’s basketball team was on its way back from a road game against Northern Kentucky when the fire started.

“On the return drive from today’s game against Northern Kentucky, the bus carrying the IU Indianapolis men’s basketball team experienced a mechanical issue, that caused a fire around Kent, Indiana,” the team’s athletic department tweeted at 6:22 p.m. ET on Sunday night.

The bus carrying the IU Indianapolis men’s basketball team caught fire along Interstate 275 on Sunday evening as the Jaguars were traveling home from a game at Northern Kentucky earlier in the day.
