For bargain hunters, Big Lots has long been a haven for furniture, home goods, and seasonal finds at rock-bottom prices. But in a cruel twist of fate, the discount retailer itself couldn’t withstand the rising tide of inflation.

Big Lots has filed for bankruptcy and has slated several stores for closing across the country — but the stores in Olean and Bradford, Pa. were not on that list

The number of Big Lots store closures is growing again, with another location in Massachusetts slated to shutter. The list, which previously had five Massachusetts locations, is now adding a sixth at 10 Newbury St.
