At least 10 people have died across the Los Angeles area in the wildfires. Officials have said the true death toll is not known as the fires continue to burn.

Multiple wildfires, including the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire, are raging across Southern California Thursday, leaving at least 10 dead and burning more than 27,000 acres, officials say. Police have arrested 20 suspected looters.

Nearly 250,000 people and businesses remain without power Thursday as wildfires continue to rage across Southern California. As of about 10:30 a.m. ET, just over 245,000 outages had been reported, according to the USA TODAY power outage tracker.
