Snow has begun to fall across Swindon and Wiltshire after a yellow weather warning was issued. Heavy snow is forecast between 6pm and 7pm and lighter snow is predicted throughout much of the evening.

Councillors were recommended to approve the plan but decided to defer the decision to give residents more time to comment.
