The Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills scorched 50 acres before fire crews got seemed to get the upper hand on it. But, as is the way in Los Angeles this week, as soon as the immediate danger had passed,

Ben Affleck was seen returning to his home in Pacific Palisades, which continues to be ravaged by wildfires. Massive wildfires roaring through the Los Angeles area left neighborhoods in ruins, killing at least five people and threatening famous landmarks.

Mandatory evacuations were ordered for the Sunset Fire, which was estimated at 10 acres. The evacuation zone is for Laurel Canyon Boulevard on the west; to Mulholland Drive on the north; to the 101 Freeway on the east; and down to Hollywood Boulevard on the south.
