The official schedule for the 2025 ICC Champions trophy which is scheduled to take place in Pakistan in February-Match next year is still to be revealed as the BCCI has refused to send Team India to for the tournament.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has written a letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) seeking an explanation on India's participation in the next years Champions Trophy which will be hosted by Pakistan.

The PCB’s demand for clarification comes amidst political strains that have kept India and Pakistan from playing bilateral cricket on each other’s soil since 2008.

Currently, neither Pakistan nor India are taking a step back from their current stance, meaning no compromise is yet to be reached on the tournament's location. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is determined to play the entire tournament in its own backyard providing India flexibility of Lahore as their venue (geographically closer to India).
