Max will start cracking down on unpaid password sharing later with this year, although it seems like the company will reserve its real efforts for 2025 and beyond.
Max is going to crack down on password sharing — what we know
Most streamers ask users to pay extra if they share passwords with other users, and it looks like Max could use a similar method. Wiedenfels referred to password sharing as “a form of price rises,” saying the company will start “asking members who have not signed up, or multi-household members to pay a little bit more.”
Is ‘Small Things Like These’ Streaming on Netflix or HBO Max?
For now, Small Things Like These will only available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in select theaters in the U.S. on Friday, November 8. (It opened in theaters in UK and Ireland on November 1.) You can find a showing near you via Fandango. Small Things Like These is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.
