Those affected in Tampa Bay counties are eligible for the aid, which includes grants for temporary housing and home repairs.

Florida homeowners and renters in 17 counties who had uninsured damage or losses caused by Hurricane Helene may be eligible for FEMA assistance.

The death toll from Hurricane Helene rose Sunday to at least 84 people across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia.
