The BSE Sensex dropped over 350 points, trading at 78,015.13 (−660.05 ), a decline of 0.84%. The Nifty50 index also saw a slight dip, shedding 228.85 points, or 0.96%, to reach 23,654.60, as investors anticipate Swiggy’s stock market debut.

AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market. Au Small Finance Bank Ltd.(up 1.5 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.9 per cent), Punjab National Bank(up 0.48 per cent), Bandhan Bank Ltd.(up 0.39 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.

The S P BSE Sensex was down 611.27 points to 78,063.91 at 1:42 pm, while the NSE Nifty50 declined 208.65 points to trade at 23,674.80.

The BSE Sensex was trading at 78,295.70, down 379.48 points, or 0.48 per cent. Smallcap and midcap indices fell 1.77 per cent and 1.41 per cent, respectively.

At the opening bell, the BSE Sensex was down 167 points, or 0.21 per cent, at 78,507.87, while the Nifty 50 was at 23,820, down 62 points, or 0.26 per cent. Among the 30 constituent stocks in the BSE Sensex,
