Reynolds American has agreed to buy Lorillard, combining two tobacco giants that will together market Newport, Camel, Pall Mall, Grizzly smokeless tobacco and an e-cigarette called Vuse.

The purchase “gives us a strong presence in virtually every domestic tobacco category ... discounted Grizzly brand, which has been driving down the cost of other smokeless brands.
