After a miserable run with my NFL picks, it's been two straight weeks of solid picking for me. I went 9-6-1 against the spread this past week and 12-4 straight up. That ups my straight-up season record to 153-87 and my ATS season record to 110-125-5.

The 49ers have nothing to play for other than pride at this point. They're facing a Lions team that has the best record in the NFC but hasn't even clinched their division yet. Detroit will be playing with a lot on the line, meaning we can expect their very best, even in a game they should have no trouble winning.

No. 2 pick Jayden Daniels and the Commanders are favored by four points in the Week 17 NFL odds, over No. 8 pick Michael Penix and the Falcons. Before that, however, a pair of veteran quarterbacks in Jordan Love and Sam Darnold will face off in Packers vs.

The Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers both entered 2024 with Super Bowl hopes. For the Dolphins, an influx of veterans was supposed to shepherd the team to postseason success after back-to-back first round exits. For the 49ers, a squad with two Super Bowl losses and two NFC Championship losses in five years expected to be in the mix yet again.
