The tournament is being held in Greenville again this year, with the action starting Wednesday. The championship game will be held Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. and be televised on ESPN. South Carolina is vying for its ninth SEC Tournament championship in program history.

South Carolina and Vanderbilt were seemingly locked into a back-and-forth battle in the first quarter. Neither team could really gain an advantage over the other and Vanderbilt held a small lead 13-11 with just over three minutes left in the first quarter. Then the Gamecocks found some juice.

The Gamecocks forced five Kentucky turnovers and went on a 9-0 scoring over the course of three minutes, and they ultimately outscored UK 13-2 in the final 5:42 of the game to put the Wildcats away for good.
