The San Diego Padres are facing a battle for ownership of the team. Perhaps adding to the drama is a family conflict. Sheel Seidler, the widow of late team owner Peter Seidler, has filed a lawsuit against her husband's brothers for control of the Padres.

The widow of former San Diego Padres owner Peter Seider is suing Seidler's two brothers in an effort to take control of the franchise. Sheel Seider on Monday filed suit in Texas state probate court and in part alleged that Robert and Matthew Seidler breached their fiduciary duties as trustees of the Seidler Trust,

Sheel Seidler claimed that Matt and Bob Seidler breached their fiduciary duties as executors of Peter Seidler's estate.
