The competition committee is “split” on the tush push ban, per Mark Maske of The Washington Post. The same is true of the league’s 32-team voting body, 24 of whom would need to vote in favor of the ban for it to be implemented.
Tush Push Ban Proposal Reportedly Has 'Support' Within NFL's Competition Committee
Per ESPN's Kalyn Kahler, the Packers' proposal to get the Philadelphia Eagles' signature play banned from the NFL has support within the competition committee. Kahler added that the subject is expected to be "hotly contested" at league meetings this week.
