This federal funding will create and sustain over 200 construction and manufacturing jobs in Corvallis, and may also lead to improved public services for the city.
$325M CHIPS Act Award to Fund Mich. Semiconductor Facility
The U.S. Department of Commerce will provide the funding via the CHIPS Incentives Program, to Hemlock Semiconductor. It will enable construction of a new manufacturing plant and create nearly 200 manufacturing jobs.
