The Shining has a lot of unsettling elements, including creepy twins, an elevator full of blood, and an early depiction of a furry. But the real reason why the film is terrifying is very simple.

Twins on the big screen have long enthralled audiences not simply because of their visual resemblance, but because of the compelling duality that they tend to embody.

"Thank you for encouraging me to take the risk and for showing me that even though I stutter I can still get my point across and ensure that everything goes well," said twin senior, Ahkyera Green.
