Ewers turned down an $8 million NIL offer to transfer to another school for his final year of eligibility, according to a report from 247 Sports’ Chip

The Hurricanes pulled off another major move this offseason by landing Georgia quarterback Carson Beck. Beck initially declared for the draft but changed his mind and transferred to Miami, where he reportedly secured an NIL deal with the Hurricanes worth a little over $3 million.

Ewers became one of just four quarterbacks to lead the Longhorns to a Big 12 Championship alongside Young, McCoy, and James Brown.
