Zach Edey only played one half against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. The Grizzlies' center started the game and battled with Victor Wembanyama, but he got hit in the face late in the first half and did not return to the game.

The San Antonio Spurs (19-21) dropped their second straight game to the Memphis Grizzlies (27-15), losing at home on Friday night 140-112. The Western Conference foes were playing a tight game into the second half as the score was tied at 86 with 3:34 to play in the third quarter.
