Personnel from Elon Musk's government downsizing team called DOGE held what appeared to be their first meetings at the Pentagon on Friday, a U.S. official told Reuters, as senior military officers brace for billions in possible spending cuts.

A pair of lawsuits say that, with all the power he has accumulated, Musk is violating the Constitution's rules about the appointment of federal officers.

The billionaire said he was given top secret clearance years ago, but that classified information makes communication within the government too hard.
