Actor Jack Black found the world of the Warner Bros film “A Minecraft Movie” easy to navigate because he had played the 2011 Swedish video game “Minecraft,” on which the movie is based."I had (my) kids that were obsessed with 'Minecraft' years before I heard about this movie.

Black will be doing more than just acting in A Minecraft Movie. He revealed to Variety that he will also perform an original song featuring Foo Fighters and Nirvana star Dave Grohl on drums. He co-wrote the song known as "I Feel Alive" with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, which will wrap up the movie.
