(Reuters) -Consumer firm Hindustan Unilever said it will buy a majority stake in the 'Minimalist' skin care brand and reported a marginal rise in third-quarter profit on Wednesday, lifted by festive season demand and an ongoing recovery in rural markets.

Unilever’s India unit is acquiring Indian premium beauty brand Minimalist. Hindustan Unilever (HUL) announced it will take a 90.5% stake in the company for a value of 29.55bn rupees (US$342.3m), including debt. HUL also said that within two years Minimalist would be owned wholly by them.
