OpenAI teams up with UAE’s G42 to build one of the world’s largest AI data centers in Abu Dhabi, marking its first major project outside the US.

As part of a new partnership, G42, an Emirati A.I. firm, will also help fund OpenAI’s new computer facilities in the United States.

OpenAI said it’s helping to develop a major data center in the United Arab Emirates, a big overseas expansion of its Stargate effort to build out AI infrastructure.
