Chinese Grand Prix ended, Ferrari's drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc lost their points in the second race of the Formula 1.

The cars of both drivers failed post-race checks, with Hamilton’s skid block found to be below the minimum thickness, while Leclerc’s car was found to be underweight. Alpine’s Pierre Gasly has also been disqualified for an underweight car.

McLaren driver Oscar Piastri cruised to his maiden Chinese Grand Prix win from pole position with the Australian untouchable ahead of his teammate Lando Norris as the pair completed McLaren’s milestone 50th one-two placing in Formula 1.

Starting from pole position, Piastri made the most of the race by keeping his position throughout the race, winning the 56-lap Chinese Grand Prix. His teammate, Norris took seconds, and Mercedes’ George Russel took third. The Silver Arrow did overtake Norris’ McLaren briefly but gave away the position soon after.
