Calling it “an unattended death” aboard the flight, Massachusetts State Police said someone called the Crime Scene Services Section about the death.

The passenger who died on an AirFrance flight from Scotland to Boston has been identified as Barbara DiPoli, 53, from Topeka, Kansas. Police said preliminary information shows DiPoli's death may have resulted from a medical episode during the midst of the flight.
