Easy to find on the outskirts of Lincoln . If you are staying there is a Premier Inn across the road from the driveway entrance . Parking is £3 and payable in reception and there is plenty of it. …Full review by DudleyF

Really interesting day, the tour around the site was superb, excellent guide. A fitting memorial to the unsung heroes of Bomber Command, will definitely return.Full review by Travel32369432520

I definitely saw some dogs in the grounds when I went. I've checked the website and this is the official policy - "Assistance dogs are welcome and can accompany visitors throughout all areas of the site. Other dogs are welcomed within the gardens. Water bowls are available for dogs." Hope that's helpful.
I will be visiting London next month from Australia, and plan to take the train from London to visit Bomber Command - my father was with the 460 squadron. Is the centre easily accessible from the train station? How long would you allow for a visit. Many thanks Kathryn

Hi and I hope you have a safe journey to England. You may be best to take a taxi from Lincoln city centre to bomber command centre. It’s only a mile or so but up quite a steep hill. Only half an hours walk if you’re energetic!! There is quite a lot to see at the centre so you will need to spend several hours. If you look around in depth at all of the exhibitions it will take at least 1 hr then there are the memorial walls to see set around the spire. There are also some lovely gardens which are still a work in progress. You may also wish to browse around the gift shop and relax in the cafe. Enjoy!
