OK, so technically, it’s not a castle, but a stately home… Nevertheless, to visit here is completely free so why would you not pay a visit if you are in the area. There’s no car park, but plenty o… Full review by Runner_Sam

Stopped here on a whim as i love a good ruin ! Spent a very pleasant 45 mins wandering around. The info boards were good too. Full review by Kev575

This English ruin stands alone without any real attention given to its existence. It is in reasonable state and you can get into and walk around the ground floor. It is possible to imagine the majest… Full review by R1chardN

Nearest coffee shops are in Wetherby about 3 to 4 miles. Nice town with river running through. Pub 1/4 mile from ruins, toward Wetherby.
