Very interesting modern museum. Lots to interest all the family. Well laid out. Lots of information and full of objects of all sizes and periods of history. Free entry. Highly recommend.Full review by Freezer49
Hi. My boy is 5 and army mad, but gets very bored with text on walls, rather he would like to see exhibits, tanks, guns, bombs, that sort of thing. Is this a good place to travel an hour to?
Does the museum contain any exhibits related to the fighting at Rorke's Drift ?

Sorry but not sure, as my interest is the Great War, but l was amazed at what exhibits they had also the art gallery should be a starting point. Hope this helps.
