I definitely saw some dogs in the grounds when I went. I've checked the website and this is the official policy - "Assistance dogs are welcome and can accompany visitors throughout all areas of the site. Other dogs are welcomed within the gardens. Water bowls are available for dogs." Hope that's helpful.

There is a desk round the corner away to the right of the entrance (not the main reception desk though they will point you the right way) where someone will help with RAF related family history queries. If they don't have access to the appropriate records they can help you find out where else to look. If you want a full service record (where they trained and were posted etc) then you need to write to the MOD. In that case try and find the service number first

Hi Kathryn The IBCC is about 10 minutes away from the train station. The station is located at the heart of the City next to our new transport hub. There are buses that run from the station passed the centre but unfortunately none stop directly at the centre. There are however, always taxi's available and they will cost approximately £5. We look forward to welcoming you to the centre Kind regards Nicky
