If you like Palo Duro you'll love Caprock Canyons. Way out near Quitique (Kitty kway) Texas Caprock is just gorgeous. Red rock canyon walls plenty of hiking and a huge herd of Bison as the majority …Full review by Rick B

Traveling with 4 kids (ages 1, 3, 5, 7) in early August. Is this worth a stop as it is on the way from Palo Duro Canyon to Houston? Not planning on doing any hiking as all the hikes looked long for my kids' ages but just wondering if worth it to drive and stop at the scenic lookouts along the road. It's the last day of a 3 week national parks roadtrip - kids are all well traveled.
