The Council is a democratic organisation run by elected Councillors voted in by the people. The Council’s vision is: “to make the borough a place of choice. It will be a place where people want to live because of its clean and safe neighbourhoods, its reputation as a centre of educational excellence, and its beautiful parks and wild countryside.”
