Got to come up and see a matinee of “Boop!”, the new musical at this venerable location. Originally built in 1917, the place has held up well. The theater has hosted not only musicals but also revu…Full review by Jonathan H

As a trainer I don’t know whether you have the same ADA protections as there are for guide dogs. Call the theater and call an ADA rep and see for sure what the legal requirements are. Theaters in NYC bear little to no resemblance to movie theaters. There is almost zero leg room where a guide animal of any size can sit. Some aisles and stairwells are tight with two-way traffic using them. The animal could also be a tripping hazard during intermission. If the dog hasn’t completed training this may not be the greatest idea even if you aren’t prohibited from bringing them as a trainer. At the very least may be required to purchase a seat in a handi-friendly location.
