Hi Meghan, No, it's a competitive treasure hunt: a family of four splits into two teams of two (one parent per team) usually, or you can stay together and have the museum and clock as your challenge. But our guides don't stay with you during the hunt. We have the 'classic' hunt where you're provided with an answer sheet in a sealed envelope and we also have the 'luxe hunt' where a THATMuse rep spot checks teams within the museum during the hunt then meets you after for score tallying and the all-important prize giving ceremony (which can be done within the museum, or at a nearby park or café). I would say so, with an adult. It's based on observing what you can see in the museum rather than any specific knowledge.
