What lighting do you recommend for an often cold garage?
WEBMay 11, 2016 · You account for the fact that t8 bulb output goes down over time in your lighting design, just overlamp when new. Oh, I used 9 or 10, 8 foot long, 4 bulb fixtures from HD. 3700k t8. I sure love my LED can lights in the house though. My point is that you don't "need" LED to get workable light in a cold garage.

WEBJun 14, 2010 · I use my BigE to heat my approx 900sqft garage with 9' ceilings. Walls and roof are insulated with R11 I think. Two 9x8 garage doors, one man door and two double hung windows. When its working (has a ctrl brd issue), the BigE has no issue keeping the temp to whatever I set it at running on level 3. I think it is listed as a 45k or 50k BTU stove.

WEBOct 14, 2013 · Propane torches may work fine in some stoves but it doesn`t work good in my P-38 and you have to leave the door open while lighting so the stink permeates the air. I`ve also got a smoke detector close by and don`t wish to activate it. As I said before , whatever works best for the user.
